WeConnect offers TWO PACKAGES for student housing with seniors:
Services Formula
In exchange for the provision of services and daily support, the young host receives a
reduced rent.
The services package offers advantages for each generation. On the one hand, it
allows seniors to have companionship and assistance in their daily lives, and on the
other hand, it allows you to find affordable housing in these tough economic times.
You will offer the senior a little of your time and skills and benefit from a very
interesting rent.
The services provided will be defined at the time of your meeting with the senior
according to their preferences and your agreement. When you register, you can
already make a selection of the services you are willing to perform. Of course, you
will not be obliged to fill in all of them, but it will help us to find a suitable person for
you. Here are some examples: Laundry, Gardening, Groceries Shopping,
introduction to new technologies, etc.
The price of the rent is fixed between you and the senior citizen who will host you.
Our social objective is to stay below the market price, so we have set a price range to
respect. This one is between 200 and 600€ per month.

Classic Formula
The Classic formula offers an intergenerational cohabitation without any particular
commitment that benefits each generation. It allows you to find affordable housing in
these tough economic times and allows seniors to feel less alone on a daily basis.
In this formula, you are free of any commitment, but the principle always lies in a
relationship of courtesy, respect, and a caring company aiming at breaking the
solitude.
For the accommodation that will be offered to you, you will have to pay a rent to the
senior. This will be definitively fixed at the time of your meeting with the senior
citizen. However, as our social objective is to remain below the market price, we set
a price range to respect. This range is between 200 and 800€ per month.

How does it work?
1. Registration and the 1st interview
Upon receipt of your complete application file, we will try to find you a host, which
seems to fit you. As soon as we find a matching host (common affinities, proximity of
your future place of life, identical formula...), we will contact you by phone or by e-
mail in order to agree on an online appointment for an individual interview. (Please
check that our e-mail is not in your "spam" folder).
This will be an opportunity to better understand your profile and to evaluate your
aptitude to participate in the cohabitation and to deepen the framework of the
cohabitation.
If the interview is positive, an appointment can then be arranged with the senior.
If you don't have any feedback, you can call us to know the status of your request.
We do not charge students an application fee.
2. First Meeting with the senior/host
When two profiles seem to be found, an appointment is organized at the home of the senior previously visited so that the two parties meet and get the chance to get to know each other You’ll then have the opportunity to confirm or invalidate your wish for mutual cohabitation.
If you have chosen the services formula, it is also during this meeting that we will
establish the definitive services that you’ll have to provide.
We’ll then establish the principles of a peaceful cohabitation by going through
general conditions and discuss together the rights and duties of each, on
the terms of use of the accommodation. It will also be the occasion to sign the lease contract between you.
By signing the general rules, you will also commit yourself to pay the annual
subscription fee. For students, this amount is equivalent to one month's rent. That is
to say, if you have a rent of 300€/month, this will be the price you will have to
pay us once.
This fee offers you 2 guarantees:
- Support throughout the year to ensure a respectful cohabitation of the charter and the agreement and a conciliation in case of disagreement or dysfunction
- In the event of the death of the senior citizen, which no longer allows you to stay in
the same accommodation, you will be given priority for rehousing during the year,
insofar as we are able to offer accommodation and provided that you have respected the charter and your commitments during this first cohabitation.
This annual fee is valid from September to September. However, we do not ask for a
new payment when the contract is renewed.
